BAGNOR ESTATE

Bagnor - an hour and a half west of London - is a cracking shoot set in 1,000 acres on the edge of the North Wessex Downs.

The driven days are run well with a unpretentious, low-key approach, with birds driven from cover crops and woodland.

In fact, our pick of the drives are the ones in which the experienced team present a consistent flow of birds from ancient woodand. (The Common drive might not produce sky-scrapers but the birds are beautifully presented.)
