Blackbrook

Blackbrook Estate is located just over the border in South Wales, the Estate is set in beautiful countryside. The shoot is a 15 minute drive north, from the town of Monmouth. Blackbook is a very private shoot where only a few days are let during the season, so booking early is a must.

The birds are driven from covers and purpose managed woodland and presented over the gun either in the woods or valleys, this creates some challenging pheasant shooting throughout the season. There are a duck few ponds on the estate where you can shoot driven pheasant and duck that makes for some high and exciting sport.

The shoot has a relaxed but professional approach to its days with lunch being enjoyed in the main house half way through the day. The format for the day is for four drives in the morning and one drive after lunch, the shoot is unusual to other shoots,  as far as possible one walks from drive to drive
