Our Team

We are a team of four (and three dogs), who work for us or for our community interest company, based just outside the Hampshire town of Stockbridge. We all started in a cold Shepard's Hut in 2017 but have grown out of a 14' x 6' box. There is a bit more about us all below with our emails in case you'd like to get in touch.

Gavin Lockhart Mirams

Gavin grew up in Hampshire and has has been fishing for 30 years. He learnt to fish on the Tichborne Brook, and has caught a few big fish, lots of small fish and his fair share of trees.

When Gavin has not been looking after Glorious Game's clients he has worked in Downing Street, as a sailing instructor on the South Coast, or simply been used as a punch-bag for his three sons.

Tom Ledger

Tom worked for Roxtons, William Evans and other sporting agents looking after clients and their guns, before joining us in early 2018.

Before joining us, Tom worked in the gunroom at William Evans, St James's, London. As well as managing all our shoot days, Tom advises clients on gun safety, licensing, ammunition and the purchase of guns and rifles.

Oscar Boatfield

Oscar learnt to fly fish in the Test Valley when he was five years old. In the last 17 years Oscar has fished all over the UK and mainland Europe, specialising in modern nymphing techniques. He represented England in two youth World championships, and three lochstyle internationals. He then spent two years studying sport fishery management at Sparsholt College in Hampshire, where he developed a greater understanding of fish welfare and habitat conservation and restoration.

Since taking a step back from competitive fly fishing Oscar has spent the majority of his time coaching and guiding on the Hampshire Chalkstreams, and freestone rivers of the Yorkshire Dales. In 2016 he co-authored "Nymphing The New Way" with Jonathan White, an award winning book about French Leader fishing techniques.

Rollo Grandy

Rollo has been a fly fishing guide for 9 years working on the local rivers and lakes around Stockbridge in Hampshire.

He has fished and guided in New Zealand, Russia, The Caribbean, Slovenia, Spain and Scotland. But Rollo’s passion is dry fly fishing for trout and he specialises in guiding in Hampshire.

On his days off Rollo works completing river management and conservation work to improve trout habitats. He is also the head keeper on a small shoot outside Andover, whilst (trying to) keep his Border Terrier in check.
