The Shaftesbury Estate covers 5,500 acres south-west of Salisbury and runs partridge and pheasant days of between 150 – 250 birds.

This is a well-established, relaxed and friendly shoot. The estate has rolling countryside with 27 varied drives; days are organised to provide a full days sport.

The lowland farming estate is known particularly for the quality of the early season partridge days. In addition to the bigger driven days, Paul Allen, the head keeper, is happy to cater for those looking for a smaller bag, particularly later in the season

For teams of guns coming from further away accommodation on the Estate is can be arranged (subject to availability) in the Riding House - a former old stables right next to the main house fitted out to the highest standards.
